Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using RenewIQ ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of service
RenewIQ is a personal continuing education (CE) hour tracking application for licensed real estate professionals. The App allows you to log CE courses, store certificate photos, and track progress toward your state's renewal requirements.
3. Not a compliance guarantee
RenewIQ is a tracking tool, not a compliance service. The App does not:
- Submit CE records to any state licensing board on your behalf
- Verify the validity or board approval of any course you log
- Guarantee that information about state CE requirements is current or complete
- Provide legal or professional licensing advice
State CE requirements can change. Always verify your requirements directly with your state's real estate commission before submitting your license renewal. RenewIQ is not affiliated with any state licensing board or real estate commission.
4. Subscriptions and billing
RenewIQ offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Subscriptions are managed and billed by Apple through the App Store. The following terms apply:
- Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings
- No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies
5. Your data
All data you enter into RenewIQ is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device. If you delete the App or lose your device without a backup, your data cannot be recovered by us. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Use the App to submit false CE records to any licensing authority
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that CE requirement data will be accurate or current at all times.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RenewIQ and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to license lapse due to inaccurate CE requirement data.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
